In collaboration with the National Association for Media Literacy Education (NAMLE) and Texas A&M University this day-long conference on media literacy and civic engagement was held on September 28, 2018. This conference was a part of a series of honest, constructive dialogues hosted by NAMLE across the country with students, educators, content creators, and the public.

The goal of this event was to create a much-needed national conversation on the importance of media literacy and its essential role in today’s world.
