We are proud to announce that DreamWakers, the grand prize winner of the 2014 Media Rise Pitch Night, is featured in a full-page ad in the April 10 issue of Newsweek magazine.

As part of the Pitch Night prize package, the print ad was sponsored by PVBLIC Foundation, a grantmaker that harnesses the power of media assets to drive social change, and designed by a creative team at Huge, a full-service digital agency in Washington, D.C.

DreamWakers, co-founded by Monica Gray and Annie Medaglia, is currently looking for teachers to bring its free new service into classrooms to inspire students to pursue dream careers.

“Our goal is to harness the power of free video technologies like Skype and Google Hangout to bring exceptional career speakers into public school classrooms, inspiring students across America,” co-founder Gray said. “Exposure is crucial since we’re such a young organization. An ad in Newsweek is a dream for us. Our hope is that this will inspire more exceptional career speakers to sign up to join our Career Corps, and more teachers to sign up to utilize our free services.”
